Our Team

At the heart of Tiny Town are our experienced, qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Every member of our team is dedicated and trained to provide a unique learning experience for your child.

At Tiny Town, all staff continue their professional development by attending relevant seminars and training throughout the year.  We work closely as a team to enhance the learning experiences for the children.  We respect each other’s skills, expertise, knowledge and capabilities.

Dee Lester - Director

I have been the Director at Tiny Town since 2005. I have worked as an early childhood educator since 1993 and hold a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Tiny Town is a very special place, where the caring and supportive ethos enables families and the staff to work together to provide a very positive learning environment.

I am married and have 3 grown up children. In my spare time I enjoy boating with my family and relaxing with a good book.

I have been working with Children for 19 years and I am passionate about extending their learning within the Kindergarten enviroment. In my personal time I love hiking and being outdoors in beautiful Southeast Queensland and exploring the beautiful bush land. I am a keen reader and love spending time with my family and friends.

I am so happy to be a part of the Tiny Town team and have enjoyed building strong relationships with the children and their families within this unique Kindergarten setting.

Hi, my name is Charmaine. My husband and I have 2 children and both were blessed with attending Tiny Town, experiencing the friendly and nurturing atmosphere which helped their smooth transition into primary school.

I had the pleasure of joining the Tiny Town team at the start of 2010, working in the office and taking care of all the administrative matters.

I have had the pleasure of being part of the Tiny Town team since 2006 and have completed my Certificate 3 in Child Studies.  My husband and I have 3 grown children who keep us very busy.

I love getting to know all the families at Tiny Town and their special children.

I began placement at the Centre in 2015 and joined the Tiny Town Team shortly after completeing my Certificate 3 in Early Childhood, Education and Care. I enjoy supporting the children in their learning and watching them grow and develop throughout the years. I have been working at Tiny Town since early 2018. I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies. I enjoy working with children and helping them build a lifelong passion for learning. To me there is nothing better as an educator than watching a child grow in confidence with something that they were challenged with. I live in the area with my husband and enjoy reading, walking my dog and baking.
