Committed to creating a natural love of learning in your child

At the heart of Tiny Town are experienced, qualified Early Childhood Teachers and Educators who genuinely love their jobs and working with children.

Your child is the focal point of everything we do, and our number one aim is to inspire their love of learning. We work closely as a team to enhance the learning experiences for children and to create a joyful learning environment.

Every member of our team is dedicated and trained to provide a unique learning experience for your growing child.

At Tiny Town, all staff continue their professional development by attending seminars and training throughout the year.  We respect each other’s skills, expertise, knowledge and capabilities.

In line with the National Quality Framework, which contains the standards against which all childcare providers are assessed, Tiny Town’s daily staffing roster incorporates the following positions:

  • Nominated Supervisor
  • Person in Day to Day Charge
  • Educational Leader

On top of this, our commitment to your child and to our staff ensures that we have an above requirement educator to child ratio.

Geri Koilichka – Director/Kindergarten Teacher

I feel honoured to be the Centre Director/ Kindergarten Teacher at Tiny Town Childcare and Kindergarten.

I am a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Teaching Early Years, ages from 0 to 8) with over twenty years of experience in the profession. I am also trained in Management, Teaching English as a Second Language, and Training and Assessment in Children’s Services.

I believe our children, being the most precious members of our society, need and deserve excellent quality care and education, which I aim to achieve by ensuring we create play and learning environments where our children feel safe, loved, inspired, curious, and happy.

I also believe the above is only achievable if the managers, teachers, educators, parents, caregivers and the wider community all work in partnership, and I encourage all involved to be open, honest and engaged, so we can support our children’s learning and development in the best possible way.

Kierian – Lead Educator

G’day.  I’m a Group Leader here at Tiny Town and I’m passionate about the holistic care and education of young children.  I believe that the 0-5 years are the most important in a child’s life long journey of learning.  I am very much interested in the environment and sustainability and am very interested in the outdoors and nature ie. bird watching and hiking.

Svetlana (Lana) – Lead Educator

I was born and grew up in Uzbekistan. My passion for working with children came from my studies in psychology at University back in my home country. I worked in child care for three years before coming to Australia in 2009. I then continued to pursue my interest in working with children, completing my Certificate 3 and later Diploma in Children’s Services. I started working full time in the child care industry in Australia in 2011. I have worked with children of all ages. I have a very open friendly personality and am always available for a chat if parents / carers have any questions or concerns.
